Tate is one of the world's leading art institutions. Its Collection is shared by the family of four galleries: Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St. Ives.
Tate's Collection consists of over 65,000 works of art encompassing British art from 1500, including iconic masterpieces by Gainsborough, Constable, Turner, David Hockney and Henry Moore, and international modern art from 1900, featuring works by modern and contemporary artists such as Dali, Picasso, Matisse, Rothko to Emin, Hirst, Warhol and AndreasGursky.
